Japanese

Fanshī (ファンシー): The Japanese Katakana transliteration of the English word Fancy, describing the dress as elegant or the design as fantasy-like.

Sharurotto (シャルロット): The Japanese Katakana transliteration of the word Charlotte. It may refer to the dessert, alluding to the circular-shaped skirt. In name, it means strong and virile.
